zoom dynamic




Dynamic ZOOM in Autocad

Zooms to display the generated portion of the drawing with a view box. The view box represents your viewport, which you can shrink or enlarge, and move around the drawing. Positioning and sizing the view box pans or zooms to fill the viewport with the image inside the view box.
The panning view box is displayed first. Drag it to the location you want and press the pick button on the pointing device. The zooming view box is then displayed. Resize it and press ENTER to zoom, or press the pick button to return to the panning view box.

The procedure for using zoom - dynamic is given below
Type Z at the command prompt and press enter, then type letter D and press enter. OR select zoom  dynamic from the menu bar.
This will show up the entire drawing
The blue coloured box will show the drawing limits.
The green coloured box will show the previous level of zooming.
The white box will be moving with the mouse movement. Click anywhere. The white box will have a arrow on right. Move the mouse to make the box smaller or bigger. Place the box over desired portion of the drawing to be zoomed and press enter. This will zoom the portion of the drawing to full screen.
