keyboard shortcuts -2

adding to our earlier discussion  , one more thought comes forward. In most of the windows based softwares, use of shift, ctrl and  alt keys plays an important role. The same idea can be utilised here to get some more interesting  shortcuts.
Just try holding down the ctrl key and try entering nos. from 1 to 9 or enetring some alphabets and observe / note down the commands you get.
Similarly try holding shift key and try.
Also try holding down the shift and ctrl keys together and type alphabets / nos to get some more ideas.
