the size of printed text always gives headaches to many users.
many times after the drawing is printed, the text is found either too large or too small. this results in repeat prints, loss of time, paper wastage and extra expenses( if u r using outside plotting service)
the problem can be taken care of by following a simple rule.
decide the size of text required after printing. ( viz height of text in mm. e.g 5 mm)
choose the scale at which u r going to get a printout. say 1:100
then use the text height as 500 mm ( text height X scale ) ( or 0.5M) when u r typing text in acad dialog box. follow same rule for diff text heights in ur drg.
just be happy that u wont hv to reprint due to incorrect text height.
enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
